C-Shape Purlin Roll Forming Machine

A C purlin roll forming machine is a specialized piece of equipment that continuously produces C-shaped steel channels from galvanized or cold-rolled steel strips. The process involves several stages, including feeding, hole punching, bending, and cutting. This machine is fully automated and features a user-friendly Human-Machine Interface (HMI) panel, making operation straightforward. It is comprised of several key components: a decoiler, sheet guiding equipment, a roll forming section, a PLC control system, hydraulic cutting, and a collection table.

C purlins, also known as Cee purlins, are structural elements with a C-shaped cross-section. They function as horizontal beams designed to support the roof and wall joists of a building shell structure. Positioned between the roofing sheets and the building, C purlins provide essential support to keep the sheets securely attached and in place.

Z purlins, also roll-formed from GALVASPAN steel, feature one broad flange and one narrow flange. ZTRFM’s Z Section purlins are designed to interlock neatly, allowing for lapping at internal supports. This design facilitates the creation of structurally continuous purlin lines across the length of the building.

For transitioning between C and Z purlins, our design allows for easy adjustment of the upper layer rollers in relation to the lower rollers using a handwheel that can turn 180 degrees. To accommodate different sizes, the entire roller line can be moved with a bottom press control, making the process efficient and time-saving.

5.Advanced Operating System and Speed: We utilize a Siemens operating system, ensuring stable performance and ease of operation. Our machines can achieve forming speeds of  15-20 m/min, enhancing overall production efficiency. The C-Z purlin machine, equipped with a punching unit, has an approximate weight of 9 tons, indicating its robust design.
