Description of M Purlin Roll Forming Machine
ZTRFM’s unique ‘M’ shape purlin is designed with greater torsional resistance. The versatile design features single bolt connections making it suitable for both horizontal and vertical cladding.
Sections are manufactured from grade Z35 steel giving a guaranteed minimum yield strength of 350N/mm², All in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 10147.
Whilst primarily intended for use with steel framed structures, sections can be attached to masonry, timber and concrete. Spans up to 8.5m can be achieved either in single. double or multiple spans.
We operate a total quality system in accordance with all requirements.

C/Z/U/M Purlin Roll Forming Machine
A purlin roll forming machine is an essential tool in the construction and manufacturing sectors, designed to fabricate a variety of purlins—horizontal structural components that play a critical role in supporting the weight of roof decks or sheathing. This machinery can produce different profiles, including but not limited to C, Z, U, and M shapes, with options for single-profile machines or versatile CZ lines that can switch between profiles. The dimensions of these purlins can be adjusted either manually using spacers or automatically via motorized systems.
Features of C/Z/U/M Purlin Roll Forming Machines
Adaptability: These machines are engineered to manufacture a wide range of profile sizes, including C, Z, U, and M shapes, with swift and efficient changeovers.
Productivity: They are capable of generating substantial volumes of purlins within a brief timeframe, enhancing production efficiency.
Uniformity: Each purlin produced is characterized by its consistency and accuracy, ensuring reliable performance in construction applications.
Tailorability: Equipped with adjustable rollers and punching mechanisms, these machines offer flexibility in creating diverse dimensions and perforation patterns to meet specific project requirements.
Robustness: Constructed to withstand the rigors of processing heavy-duty materials and enduring continuous operation, these machines are built for longevity and reliability.
The purlin roll forming machine’s ability to swiftly adapt to different profile specifications and maintain high output levels makes it an indispensable asset in the construction industry. Its precision engineering guarantees that every purlin meets stringent quality standards, while its durability ensures long-term serviceability. Moreover, the customization features allow manufacturers to cater to a broad spectrum of building needs, from standard residential structures to large-scale commercial developments.
