Description of Webslide Clip Roll Forming Machine

Webslide Clips Machine are specially designed for both exterior curtain walls and interior studs, allowing for adjustments to accommodate building structure deflection at the top of the wall. They also offer flexibility for situations requiring stand-off.

The WS 3.50 and WS 5.50 Deflection Clips provide various attachment options to the structure, tailored to the base material. This can be accomplished using power actuated fasteners, screws, concrete anchors, or welding, as specified by the engineer of record and outlined in the engineered shop drawings. When stand-off bridging is needed, it is advisable to include a steel stud to span the necessary distance.

ZTFRM Webslide Clip

The ZTFRM Webslide Clip is designed for use with exterior curtain wall steel studs, particularly in by-pass applications.

• It accommodates standoff situations as necessary.
• The clip allows for vertical movement of up to 2.50” (1.25” in each direction).
• Available in two sizes, it features 2 slots for 3 5/8” or 4” studs, and 3 slots for 6” or 8” studs.
• The design includes pre-punched holes to ensure accurate fastening locations.

 

Used with exterior curtain wall studs, specifically in by-pass applications：

Designed for use with exterior curtain wall studs, particularly in by-pass applications, the WSC 350 and WSC 550 Deflection Clips accommodate standoff situations as needed.

• These clips allow for up to 2.5″ of vertical movement, providing 1.25″ in each direction.
• They come in two sizes, featuring two slots for 3 5/8″ and 4″ studs, or three slots for 6″ and 8″ studs.
• Pre-punched holes are included to ensure accurate fastening locations.

Attachment to the structure can be accomplished using power actuated fasteners (PAF), screws, concrete anchors, or welding, depending on the base material and as specified by the engineer of record in the engineered shop drawings. If stand-off bridging is necessary, it is recommended to include an additional steel stud to span the required distance.
